Another Troma Team original production goes straight to the trash. I have my reasons for disliking Troma and I only agreed to review this cause a friend recommended it to me highly. Their attitude of throw everything and anything into the mix even if it doesn’t make much sense has ruined many a potentially good film. The original and perhaps the sequel to The Toxic Avenger are the only two films I consider good. Recently they have started adding song and dance numbers to some of their films including this one and I think it’s horrible.

The story is about a fast food franchise (American Chicken Bunker) that builds a restaurant upon a sacred Indian burial ground. Then for no logical reason all the chickens and eggs that have been delivered to the store become possessed by angry Indian spirits. There is a protest mob outside trying to halt the grand opening of the restaurant due to "fast food evils": unhealthy food, franchise growth closing mom and pop stores etc... The main characters are Arby and Wendy (named after fast food joints). They had lost touch but now Wendy has turned into a lesbian and is part of the protest. Arby wants her back yet spitefully gets a job at the restaurant that very same day.

There are a handful of song and dance numbers that really just ruin the movie for me. Then inside the restaurant, a chicken pushes a Mexican worker into the meat grinder who had been masturbating into it. A hillbilly employee makes love to a frozen chicken and gets his penis chewed off. Then all the food gets sprayed with toxic chicken blood. The spokesperson and owner called the General, arrives and tastes the food then feeds the bad food to the protesters and they gobble it up. Everyone starts vomiting green and strange shit happens. Some people shit eggs and some become evil monster chickens and act like zombies trying to get into the restaurant that has been closed now. But the General and others inside the store are already chicken monsters so go figure. Kaufman makes an appearance as a veteran employee and jumps on the counter shooting down the monster chickens with an assault rifle. But this is not enough. Arby and his girl figure out that alcohol is the chicken’s weakness (since their Indians) and they spray some of them with beer from a keg and they die.

Arby, Wendy and another employee go down to the basement for shelter but it’s full of toxic chicken eggs. The General follows them down but explodes and dies. According to the film he couldn’t handle the Mexcican’s semen which he had eaten with the food. What kind of shit logic is this? There is a Hindu employee with them and she’s stereotypically strapped with heavy bombs on her body under her dress. Arby, Wendy and a little girl make their way out as the Hindu employee sacrifices herself blowing up the whole restaurant. Arby and Wendy have magically made up by now. Driving away the little girl gives birth to an egg in the car; disorientated the car flips and explodes killing everyone.

I thought this movie sucked so much. Yes it had great boobs and gore, something for which Troma is known for. But they are also known for making bad movies. When I say bad I mean films that are made hurried, with no talent and no heart. I consider myself a B film connoisseur but I won’t tolerate a film without heart. I give this one coffin for the gore and boobs combo alone. I know Troma has many followers but I stand by my humble opinion that most Troma films are not worth a damn!
